Our Story
Anthony and Candace, the owners of The Code, a small-town restaurant in Powers, Oregon, built on a simple belief: good food brings people together.
What started as a dream has grown into a gathering place where neighbors become friends, visitors feel like family, and community always comes first. We are a husband-and-wife team who wear many hats every day—from cooking, baking, and creating new menu specials to organizing local events and supporting the people who make our town so special.
At The Code, we take pride in serving hand-pressed burgers, house-made dressings and sauces, award-winning desserts, and our popular Thursday Wing Nights. Every meal is prepared with care because we believe food should be more than something you eat—it should be an experience that creates memories.
Beyond the restaurant, we are deeply involved in our community. Whether we’re supporting local schools, helping with White Cedar Days, partnering with local organizations, celebrating Powers Cruisers athletics, or creating events that bring people together, we believe small towns thrive when people show up for one another.
Our mission has always been simple: create a place where everyone feels welcome.
